Oper8tor is a ‘secure AI workspace’ for individuals or AEC teams. Each member gets access to leading AI models, built-in ‘expert assistants’, a shared prompt library and MCP tools that allow users to connect AI to popular design software – including Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and APS.
According to the developers, Oper8tor’s ‘expert assistants’ understand AEC domains and are grounded in the standards and regulations that AEC teams work to. Assistants include ISO 19650, Building Safety Act, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), COBie validation, classification, bid & tender. AUTOM8LABS can also build custom experts around other region’s standards, codes, templates and workflows.
Users get access to leading AI models in one workspace (e.g. Claude, Flux, GPT, Gemini, Perplexity) and can switch between them freely. A built-in scheduler allows teams to run MCP tools automatically on a schedule.
Ready-made prompts for minutes, RFIs, specs, fee proposals, tenders and more can be shared across teams. For security and privacy, the system supports per-user data isolation where each person sees only their own conversations. Image generation (text to image and image to image) is also included.
The AI Spotlight Directory is published by AEC Magazine in partnership with HP and Nvidia.
