Pirros is a detail management System for AEC firms. The US-based startup, launched in the early 2020s, was founded by former structural engineers (Ari Baranian and Peter Johann), and backed by institutional investors and Autodesk veteran Carl Bass.
Pirros is a cloud-hosted platform featuring Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud integration. It aggregates past project details — walls, connections, assemblies — into a searchable, organised detail library.
Users can quickly find, and reuse technical details using keywords, metadata, or project context.
Machine learning auto-categorises unstructured detail files, clusters similar design solutions, and suggests high-usage details for inclusion in customer’s libraries. Smart recommendations are available and there’s no manual tagging required.
