CivitPLAN is a web-native compliance-check engine tailored for architects, developers, and permitting agencies. It validates 2D CAD drawings and 3D BIM models against local building codes, bye-laws, and development regulations before submission—providing rapid feedback.
The tool reads design files (DWG, BIM) and cross-references them with a built-in library of local and state regulations. It identifies code violations, missing components, clearance issues, and site-specific constraints, then generates a compliance report instantly. It also offers pre‐formatted templates for different building types. CivitPLAN uses a proprietary engine, PlanComply AI, which applies intelligent rule parsing and context-aware checking to flag regulatory conflicts early in design.
