While not aimed directly at AEC, Zoo demonstrates some interesting technology – ‘Text-to-CAD’ – which delivers manufacturing-ready B-Rep CAD models directly from natural prompts.
Users can input prompts like “engine valve, 120 mm long…” or “prosthetic hip”, and receive fully editable CAD models — complete with parametric KCL code — ready for downstream use or modification.
It supports export formats including STEP, STL, OBJ, GLTF, and PLY. Text-to-CAD uses a proprietary ML-driven engine tuned for realistic manufacturing design, combining B-Rep geometry generation with natural language processing to translate ideas into precise CAD.
