KnowledgeBuilder is an AI-first platform that transforms unstructured AEC project data—like PDFs, drawings, images, meeting notes, and client requirements—into a centralised, searchable knowledge base.
Its main features organise regulatory and client requirements, while structuring historical project data into usable insights.
KnowledgeBuilder is designed for architects, engineers, contractors, BIM managers, compliance teams — or any AEC professionals grappling with disorganised project archives, regulatory complexity, or the need for institutional knowledge retention.
Users can ask questions in plain language and quickly see how similar issues were handled in past projects, eliminating the need to “reinvent the wheel.”
KnowledgeBuilder works across PDFs, CAD files (DWG and DXF), scanned images, handwritten markups, and more, with support for BIM files (RVT and IFC) coming soon.
It supports a natural-language querying and uses OCR, NLP, and multimodal processing AI techniques to extract, categorise, and structure keywords, references, and metadata from documents.

The AI Spotlight Directory is published by AEC Magazine in partnership with HP and Nvidia.
