Nomic is an AI platform built for the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, designed to help firms unlock decades of institutional knowledge that would otherwise remain buried in unstructured documents. One of its core capabilities is automated code compliance checking, allowing teams to cross-reference drawings against more than 380 building codes and standards and receive cited answers with specific code references. The platform also automates the drawing review process and handles submittal reviews, performing a first-pass review of submittal packages against a firm’s drawings and specifications to flag potential issues before they reach a reviewer’s desk.

A firm-wide detail search function, powered by Nomic’s Parse technology, enables designers to search across thousands of drawings to locate specific details without manually navigating folder structures.

Finally, a project research tool brings together drawings, specs, RFIs, emails, and meeting notes into a single search interface, giving teams rapid access to project-critical information without switching between systems.
