Leica Cyclone 3DR is designed to turn point cloud data into accessible 3D models. It offers a range of tools for inspection, modelling and meshing that can be used to create an assortment of 3D deliverables and reports.
The software features ‘AI Classification’ where point cloud data is automatically classified into accurate object categories (e.g, walls, floors, ceilings, pipes). AI Classification works with different environment-specific models trained with machine-learning. Models include ‘indoor construction site’, ‘road’, ‘plant’, and ‘outdoor generic’.
Classified data can be used for ‘Progress Monitoring’ comparing an as-built condition of a construction site to a design IFC model.
The software is powered by Nvidia CUDA and runs on a workstation with Nvidia GPUs.
