Groundhawk is a real-time and AI-powered mapping solution designed to deliver precise 3D as-built documentation of underground cables. It combines high-precision RTK satellite positioning with 3D photogrammetry scanning and AI analytics.
With Groundhawk, construction crews record precise underground data of cables and network elements while trenches are open, creating digital records with “centimetre-level accuracy, instantly synced to the cloud”. According to the company, this real-time capture allows issues to be identified and corrected immediately rather than discovered weeks later during post-build surveys.
Contractors can use data for QA workflows, verifying trench depths, cabinet placements, and cable protections in real time. Meanwhile, teams can track completed work in and report on weekly progress.
The platform supports multiple export formats and GIS/NIS integration via API.
