Blueprints AI is a construction document creation platform that automates the generation of permit-ready, code-compliant drawings ready for building department approval – reducing the need for plan check corrections.
The software accepts either existing designs – sketches, CAD files (DWG, DXF, RVT, FBX, SKP), point cloud files or photos – or text descriptions as input to produce documents designed to meet building code and zoning requirements.
According to the company, the AI generates permit sets that meet International Building Code (IBC), California Building Code (CBC), local zoning codes, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
Machine learning models have been trained on building codes and construction standards to help ensure output meets jurisdictional requirements.
