Bluebeam Revu, the PDF-based collaboration and markup platform, is being extended with several AI-powered features through a new subscription service, Bluebeam Max.
The subscription includes integration with Anthropic’s Claude, GitHub Copilot CLI, and AnythingLLM via MCP in Revu, enabling users to use natural language prompts to find information, create and update markups, create custom columns, and “turn metadata into insights”.
It also adds Stitching, which automatically combines multiple drawing sheets into a single, navigable, to-scale view for large and linear infrastructure projects.
Other features include Magic Markups, which automates repetitive annotation tasks to reduce manual clicks and speed up takeoffs, and Smart Overlay, which allows teams to quickly identify design changes and discrepancies across entire drawing sets and disciplines.
Smart Review is said to provide structured, actionable insights into design discrepancies, scope gaps and missing information, helping teams catch issues earlier and reduce costly downstream issues.

The AI Spotlight Directory is published by AEC Magazine in partnership with HP and Nvidia.
