SketchUp AI is a new subscription-based suite of AI tools designed to streamline modelling, visualisation and learning within Trimble SketchUp. The service includes two main components: AI Render and AI Assistant.
AI Render, previously known as SketchUp Diffusion, is SketchUp’s generative AI image creation tool. It allows users to merge their SketchUp models with text prompts or predefined visual styles to create images in seconds, supporting early concept development and high-quality client deliverables. It offers enhanced control options, including Reference Images, Inpainting and Negative Prompts, along with tools to refine generated images by adjusting colours, materials or entourage.
AI Assistant is an AI-powered help and modelling tool that supports users through natural language interaction. It can answer questions about workflows, modelling techniques and the wider SketchUp ecosystem. Its Generate Object capability enables rapid creation of 3D geometry directly inside SketchUp from either an uploaded reference image or a text description, reducing the need to model from scratch or search the 3D Warehouse.
