Gendo is a UK-based startup founded by architects. It offers AI rendering that transforms sketches, CAD files, or BIM models into photorealistic visualisations, accelerating design iteration and communication.
Gendo is a browser-based AI visualisation platform that is dedicated to the creation of architectural imagery. Designers can upload 2D sketches, drawings, or photographs to generate concept visuals, material studies, and presentation-grade images. Users can perform “Design to Image” conversions, edit materials selectively, apply style overlays like watercolour or cinematic rendering, and launch text-to-image generation—all while preserving fidelity to the original design. There are real-time controls for colour, composition, and stylistic references.
Gendo is ‘architecture-aware’ and uses generative AI models tailored for architectural contexts, enabling precise material edits, architectural detailing, style transfer, and prompt-based imagery.
The AI Spotlight Directory is published by AEC Magazine in partnership with HP and Nvidia.
